The year 2023 started with a new collection, new experiences, connections and inspiration galore. It was the 8th edition of the Heimtextil fair in which we participated as exhibitors. Heimtextil is the largest and most important international trade fair for home textiles, and our participation has already become a tradition.

The Mendola Fabrics team was present with a special stand, where the latest trends in interior design and textiles were represented. Heimtextil is also the event where our Spring-Summer collection is presented to the international public. The new collection has been enthusiastically received, and the new items will also be presented to the general public from March 2, 2023.

Our booth hosted hundreds of meetings and inspired passers-by with unique displays where our curtains and sheers were the center of attention.

The layout was guided by global trends, which were also presented at the fair. From sustainability, represented by fabrics from recycled materials or natural fibers, to sophisticated style - illustrated by rich velvets and intensely pigmented materials. Our stand caught the eye and attracted visitors with curtains and sheers in a wide range of styles, suitable for any kind of setting.

Every year, Heimtextil presents emerging trends for the coming seasons. Heimtextil's trendsetting board aims to combine inspiration with insight, drawing on research and analysis of relevant global socio-cultural trends to provide design and color direction for the 23/24 season.

This year, the trend that guided the Heimtextil story was sustainability, under the motto of "Make and Remake".

"Make and Remake" involves understanding how we can extend the life of existing materials and show how beautiful recovered and remade textiles can be. Whether it is natural fiber fabrics, textiles created through recycling or other methods that have a low impact on the environment - they play an important role in the textile industry of the future.

The Trendhall, the space where trends come to life through various installations and creative displays, also hosted 3 Mendola Fabrics items, which were exhibited to illustrate the trend of recycled fabrics.

The 3 items were: Ecco, Avenue (both made from recycled polyester) and Refresh (an innovative curtain with air purifying properties)

Thank you to everyone who visited our stand. We ended our visit to Heimtextil 2023 with a smile on our face.

Our Spring-Summer 2023 collection has been enthusiastically received by the international audience, we have made new partnerships and we are loaded with inspiration and now we are preparing for the official launch of the collection on March 2nd.
