The Deco Days 2022 experience

Deco Days 2022 took place between September 8 and 11, at the BT Arena in Cluj-Napoca. The event dedicated to design lovers was enjoyed by over 3000 visitors from all over the country. The event hosted masterclasses, presentations, collection launches and workshops supported by experts in the field and brands from the sphere of interior design.

For 4 days Deco Days 2022 we brought together designers, businesses and interior design enthusiasts and created a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere, perfect for making new connections and discovering new sources of inspiration. Our event, now in its 7th edition, had renowned guests, who gathered the audience around the two stages.

Exciting presentations, workshops and masterclasses

Among the highlights of the event were: The interior design course, taught by Ileana Răducanu and Luminița Popescu (Oh Da Design), where the participants created moodboards from objects and samples made available by the event's partners; The Business Masterclass in Interior Design – where Victor Grosu (IDBS) spoke about how to practice the job in a fair, professional and cost-effective way and launched the IDBS (Interior Design Business School) platform;

Călin Biriș gave a presentation entitled "Architecture of online promotion", addressed to those who have businesses in the field of design, where they could learn how to promote their business in an efficient way.

Paul Tătar, from Vox Studio, held an "Archviz" workshop, dedicated to designers who want to create captivating 3D renderings. Mihnea Ghilduș (DIZANĂR) spoke to us about local design, in his presentation entitled #ROMANIANDESIGN, and Cosmin Todor told us about rounded shapes and playful design, at the presentation of "Neotenic Design".

The agenda of the event also enjoyed numerous discussion panels and question and answer sessions, among which: "Valuing Architecture" presented by Anda Zota (editor-in-chief of Igloo Magazine), followed by a discussion on the relationship between architecture and design to which - joined Cosmin Morarescu (OAR), Eleonora Dulău (OAR) and Camelia Sisak (Atelier Mass). The furnishing concepts exhibited during the event were presented by the designers in a discussion moderated by Ileana Răducanu, and those who had questions about the interior design could address them to the designers Marcel Maier and Mihai Caraghiaur, in the section dedicated to questions and answers.

Between discussions and presentations about design and business, there were also more relaxed moments dedicated to art. Levente Zöld (Watchthis Works) created an interactive piece of art that could be explored and rediscovered through Augmented Reality and a light show.
